SUMMER CAMP

Week 1: Movie Making- This week the students will explore the world of film and learn about the movie making process. They will create their own animated movie, learn about directors, actors and participate in activities and games. They will take a field trip to the movies.

Week 2: Down on the Farm- This week the students will learn about the everyday living on the farm. They will create their own butter, bread, plant seeds, complete crafts. The petting zoo will visit the center for a hands-on farm experience.

Week 3: Boom, Pop, Splat- Let's get messy and watch it explode! They will mix and activate chemical reactions, create slime using different recipes, create science experiments. They will take a trip to Wonder Works in Myrtle Beach.

Week 4: When I Grow Up!- This week students will learn what it takes to work in the medical field, as a veterinarian, as a firefighter, as a judge, and as news reporter. They will take a trip to the news station.

Week 5: Health is Wealth- What does it take to get healthy and stay healthy? The students will learn more about their body and how to stay in shape and how to eat healthy. This is a short week due to The 4th of July. There will not be any field trips this week. We will have a fun day Wednesday.

Week 6: Let's Build It- Let your imagination soar as you create marble mazes, create a pulley design that will shoot the farthest, build a claw machine and Ferris Wheel. They will enjoy a trip to Frankie's Fun Park.
